Concern
You describe what you’ve noticed, in your own words and without a form. What it looks like in the morning, what it does after a hot day, whether it itches, whether anyone in the family has it.
Forty-five minutes with one dermatologist. A written plan, priced and in your hands before you leave. No packages, and no treatment sold on the first visit.
Responds in six to eight weeks.

Most skin clinics in this city will offer you a course of six sessions before anyone has looked closely at your face. We work the other way round.
It isn’t malice — packages are simply easier to sell than uncertainty, and uncertainty is what most skin actually presents as. Roughly half the people who arrive expecting a treatment leave with a prescription and a follow-up date.
Appointments are by WhatsApp or phone. The clinic replies within clinic hours, usually the same morning.

What you’ve already used and for how long — prescription, over-the-counter, or something recommended by a salon. This matters more than most people expect. A great deal of stubborn acne is irritation from a product someone was sold.
Examination under proper lighting, dermoscopy where relevant, and bloodwork where the presentation calls for it. If a diagnosis can’t be made in one sitting, we say so rather than guess and treat.
Written down, priced, and split three ways: what’s essential, what’s optional, and what to leave alone. You keep the paper. If the honest answer is nothing needs treating, that’s a good outcome and it’s still ₹2,500.
A package commits you to six sessions before anyone knows whether the first one worked. Stopping should always be a decision you can afford to make, so nothing here is sold in advance.
Treated in stages — active acne first, then marks, then texture. Treating scarring while acne is still active is the most common way money gets wasted on skin.
from ₹3,500per sessionSlow, and we’ll say so at the first appointment. Melasma treated aggressively elsewhere is often worse than melasma left alone. A year-long conversation, not a course.
from ₹4,000per sessionRoughly a third of cases turn out to be thyroid, ferritin, or PCOS-related, and resolve when the underlying cause is treated.
₹2,500consultation, tests extraFractional and Q-switched, priced per session. A test patch on every new patient, in every season, without exception.
from ₹6,000per sessionFull-body examination with dermoscopy. Anything suspicious is photographed, measured, and re-checked in three months — or excised and biopsied that week.
₹3,000full skin checkRanges reflect the treatment chosen, not your willingness to pay. Itemised receipts are issued for everything and accepted by most insurers for reimbursement; purely cosmetic treatment usually isn’t covered.
Dr. Ira Menon has practised dermatology for nineteen years, eleven of them in this room. The clinic is deliberately small — a single consulting room, one doctor, and a cap on how many patients are seen in a day.
It means appointments run to time and nobody is seen by an assistant. It also means the waiting list is real; ask about cancellations rather than the calendar.

Because nobody knows at session one whether six will be needed. Selling six upfront makes the clinic’s income depend on a decision taken before the evidence exists, and that’s a bad incentive to build into a practice.
Then you’ve paid ₹2,500 and learned that your skin is fine. It’s a real outcome and not a rare one — particularly for people who arrive having been sold four treatments somewhere else.
Yes, and bring whatever you’re using. A review of an existing plan is usually more useful than starting again — and a second opinion that saves you a course of something unnecessary is the cheapest thing this clinic does.
No, except where something needs urgent attention. A diagnosis made in eight minutes on a first meeting is wrong often enough that the treatments which follow it are the expensive ones.
Acne responds in six to eight weeks. Pigmentation takes three months before it’s fair to judge, and often longer. Anything promising a visible change in a fortnight is describing inflammation, not the condition.
